The four key components of the GGT UDRH's Mental Health Project are to:
1. Increase access to mental health services for rural and remote Australians.
2. Improve the ability of other health professionals to recognise and deal with mental health issues among their clients and patients.
3. Provide community engagement to increase the awareness of mental health issues among people living in rural and remote areas.
4. Provide mentoring and supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate students of mental health disciplines within the Greater Green Triangle region.
